The International Symposium on INnovations in Intelligent SysTems and Applications (INISTA)
has been organized since 2005. It aims to bring together the researchers from the entire
spectrum of the multi-disciplinary fields of intelligent systems and establish effective
means of communication between them.

Papers are solicited on all aspects of intelligent systems and related applications,
from the points of view of both theory and practice. This includes, but is not limited to,
the following topics: Artificial Intelligence Algorithms; Artificial Neural Networks;
Bioinformatics; Data Mining; Evolutionary Computations; Expert Systems; Fuzzy Logic; Genetic
Algorithms; Hardware Implementations for Intelligent Systems; Human-Computer Interaction;
Intelligent Agents; Intelligent Applications in Biomedical Engineering; Intelligent
Approaches in Robotic and Automation; Intelligent Approaches in Signal and Image Processing;
Intelligent Approaches in System; Identification/Modeling; Intelligent Control Systems;
Intelligent Defense/Security Systems; Intelligent Life; Machine Learning; Memetic Computing;
Natural Language Processing; Particle Swarms; Smart Sensors and Materials; Intelligent Systems.

Proposals of special sessions and tutorials on hot and emerging topics in the field of the
symposium are welcome.
The language of the symposium is English. Papers presented at the conference by the authors
will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing
(A&I) databases.

SUBMIT FULL PAPERS BY 26 FEBRUARY 2014

Details for the submission and all information concerning the symposium can be found at the
symposium web site at http://www.inista.org/. Author notifications will be emailed by March 15,
2014, and the final manuscript is due April 10, 2014. Submission implies willingness to
register at the conference, pay the registration fee and present the paper in person. Papers
will be included in the proceedings only if at least one author will register and pay the
registration fee by April 10, 2014 (only IEEE member and non-member fees are acceptable to
this purpose) - no exceptions. Papers included in the proceedings will be submitted for
inclusion into IEEE Xplore only if the paper will be presented in person at the conference
by one of the authors. If an author covers more than one paper with her/his registration
to guarantee inclusion in the proceedings, she/he must pay a 50 US$ surcharge for each paper
in excess of one.
